Hello Taekwondo Family! We'd like to introduce our leadership!

Master Kayla Rommann

Master Rommann Stared WT style Taekwondo in 2007 under Master Dennis Jensen. She Achieved the rank of 1st Dan in 2009, and started instructing White Belts and Tiny Tigers.

In 2013 she started adding other styles to try to become a more rounded black belt, and she met Grand Master Francis Moore. She dual trained in both ITF and WT wanting to hold two ranks.

After switching WT schools in 2015, she then started under Master Teresa Nickell and Dr. Master Kent Nickell.

Master Rommann is known for her board breaking skills and flexibility. She has competed internationally, and takes the most pride in refereeing/judging tournaments.

Taekwondo Resume

2007

Began WT style Taekwondo

Master Rommann began Taekwondo in 2007 Under Master Dennis Jensen. Master Rommann started taekwondo to gain confidence, lose weight, and get stronger. At their first class their weight was almost 300 pounds.

2009

1st Dan in WT achieved

In April 2009, they achieved their 1st Dan in WT taekwondo and started teaching white belts and the "tots', currently known in CVTKD as Tiny Tigers.

2010

Second Dan Achieved

In 2010, they achieved their 2nd dan, and participated heavily in tournaments, earning a class D judge rating in the AAU system, as well as continuing to compete in multiple tournaments in 4 states.
